About
Carol Dopkin began her real estate career in Baltimore, Maryland in 1972. In 1979, she brought her talents to the Rocky Mountains, settling in Old Snowmass with her husband, entrepreneur, Buzz Dopkin. She continued her real estate career from her home before renting her first office in Aspen, a small 8x10 room without a window on Cooper Street in 1987. Carol and Buzz purchased seven acres of land on McLain Flats and have called it home since 1984. While riding on her first horse Feather through the countryside on McLain Flats, she was consumed by a deep passion for horses. That was many horses ago! Today, Carol's barn houses guest horses of show quality and young horses headed toward blue ribbon dreams! All of the horses work hoof in hand with Carol to sell real estate. Carol's string of guest horses are at the ready to take clients out on horse back to view area properties or to meander along the peaceful Roaring Fork River.
