Carlie is a Broker Associate at Aspen Associates Realty. Professionally raised in New York City, Carlie is bringing her charisma and customer service skills to Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley Real Estate. A Colorado girl by heart, Carlie graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2005 with a BA in Communication and Business. Following graduation, Carlie worked in New York City in corporate sales with high fashion house Hugo Boss followed by luxury jewelry designer Temple St. Clair. Carlie moved to Aspen in November 2009, and landed a dream job at Aspen Magazine working in advertising & media sales, event planning & brand marketing. She also founded Class Consulting Inc., a boutique marketing agency serving clients in both Aspen and nationally. Carlie is the President Emeritus of the Aspen Young Professional Association, an organization which enhances business development, community awareness & involvement and networking for young professionals in the Roaring Fork Valley. Carlie worked at the Aspen Club as the Director of Sales & Marketing, leading the team with fresh ideas on branding campaigns, developing sales initiatives and enjoying the health, spa & luxury residences aspects of the biz. Currently Carlie is active in the real estate market while staying up on the social scene with her new gig as Advertising Sales Consultant at Aspen Peak Magazine (going back to her roots!) Being half outdoor/half city girl, the Aspen culture caters to Carlie’s active lifestyle both in town and in the remarkable surroundings. Carlie’s is highly perceptive, and prides herself on her keen ability to communicate. Married September 2013 to Mark Umbarger at the John Denver Sanctuary and receiving the biggest joy of their lives when Sienna Rose was born May 2015, Carlie and her family happily reside at Aspen Highlands. Creative & hard working, introducing the new “It girl” of the Roaring Fork Valley Real Estate.
